Small victory for UK micro firms as HMRC tweaks EU VAT MOSS rule

The Telegraph – 2 Dec 2014. HMRC has updated a controversial EU rule that is threatening to destroy the livelihoods of thousands of UK micro business owners. New EU regulation, due to be introduced on January 1, 2015, would have forced UK firms selling digital services, such as ebooks and e-courses, in Europe to register for VAT in every country.
