Darja is a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews. She is the Principal Investigator of a 5-year research project on home-based self-employment funded by the European Research Council through an ERC Starting Grant. Darja has investigated self-employment, microbusinesses and home-based businesses using a range of data for the UK and Germany.
