James has extensive experience handling and managing enterprise-related datasets including those on microbusinesses. James previously worked for the enterprise-tracking company The Beta Model and used their longitudinal database of 2.5m businesses to carry out analyses on firm formation and performance for government and local authorities. He also worked for four years as a Senior Economist at Cambridge Econometrics, during which time he was responsible for collecting and processing enterprise data for the European Commission’s Annual SME Report.
